We are is looking for a motivated, organized, and enthusiastic professional to join our growing team. We are a small, established transportation and civil engineering firm serving public agencies and communities throughout the Pacific Northwest. We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing + Business Development Coordinator to support our growing team. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, learns quickly, communicates well, and wants to help a great company become even better.

 

Primary Duties will include:

 

Marketing & Business Development | 60–70%

  • Support the full Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) and proposal process using InDesign and AI tools.

  • Maintain, organize, and continually improve PH's InDesign templates, graphics, resumes, project sheets, and other marketing assets.

  • Maintain and update the PH website, LinkedIn, social media, and other communications.

  • Assist with company branding, company apparel, marketing materials, and photography.

  • Track business development activities and help keep the team accountable for follow-through.

  • Integrate AI tools into all aspects of Marketing & Business Development to expedite productivity.

 

People, Culture & Project Support | 30–40%

  • Support the Principals in maintaining and strengthening PH's employee-focused company culture.

  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, gifts, and other appreciation efforts.

  • Track important employee milestones and professional development activities.

  • Help coordinate internal company events and external client events.

  • Support the Principals, Office Administrators, and Project Managers with day-to-day company and office operations.

 

Desired Experience and Education Requirements include:

  • 0–2 years of experience in marketing, business administration, communications, engineering administration, or a related field.

  • Experience with Adobe InDesign and AI tools, or the willingness and ability to learn it quickly.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • The ability to work comfortably with people at all levels of an organization.

  • A high level of personal responsibility and pride in your work.

  • A valid driver's license.

​​Traffic engineer​

​​

Fife, WA / Hybrid / Remote

 

We are looking for a Professional Engineer (PE) with 6+ years’ experience and a BSCE or Master’s Degree in Traffic Engineering. This position will lead the project tasks for various traffic engineering projects that may involve traffic signals, roundabouts, roadway design, non-motorized improvements, rail crossings, illumination, signing, channelization, accessibility, temporary traffic control, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and fiber optic communications.


The Traffic Engineer works with the Principals, PEs, and other PH staff on public municipal projects and private development projects. A Washington PE License is required. AutoCAD, technical writing, and good interpersonal skills are highly desirable. The salary range offered will be based on experience.


Primary Duties will include:

  • Preparing design plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for traffic signals, roadway lighting/signing/pavement markings, temporary traffic control and ITS elements.

  • Leading and performing on a variety of projects in traffic operations and multi-modal transportation engineering.

  • Operational Analysis of arterial networks, corridor signal synchronization/timing, and freeway corridors using simulation packages.

  • Preparing plans, specifications, and estimates for various transportation and ITS projects.

  • Interacting with multi-disciplinary and multi-office project teams.

Desired Experience and Education Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.

  • 6+ years of experience in Traffic Engineering Design.

  • A Washington PE license is required, or the ability to achieve one in the next one to two years.

  • Experience with client meetings, project management, and proposals is desirable.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Synchro, Vissim, Sidra, and Autoturn.

  • Working knowledge of industry practices and regulations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
